Bryan's area is incredible for grizzlies. The area is a burn which is a magnet for fall bears due to the huge amount of blueberries. This hunt was extremely difficult. First, I was expecting to use horses but there was none when I got to camp. We hiked 13 miles into grizz country and then would hike 3-5 miles from there. Despite the physical brutality of this hunt, Bryan got me into a lot of bears. We saw about 40 bears in a 2 week period. I shot this huge BC bear on the last day. The hunt did not end exactly as well as I hoped, but it was one that I'll never forget.

Bryan works harder than just about any guide I've met. My only complaint is he will charge ahead of you and I was constantly playing catch-up. This was a small price - he was instrumental at getting me my first grizz.
