Blackduck Outfitters

We hunted Chesapeake Bay the first day. Temps reached the mid 70s, and wind died to nothing. We saw and shot at plenty of ducks. Scott said that we only saw about 1/5 the normal ducks for that time of year, because of the warm weather. The second day, we hunted the Potomac River (about 5 miles south of Mount Vernon, for you history buffs). The weather was still warm but we had better wind. We shot many ducks. They were much easier to hit, as they were decoying right into us. The last day was cancelled, due to high winds.
Scott's equipment was excellent. Make sure you take a cell phone to coordinate meeting in the morning, etc. Please note I am a booking agent. I booked this hunt and paid full price.
None to date. If you are the outfitter please email us.
Weather was in the 70's. When the wind died down, the ducks stopped flying.
