This was a fantastic caribou hunt, at Camp Min, on Minto Lake. The camp was very comfortable, and the camp crew were very pleasant. There were four people per heated cabin, and a great hot shower in the dining cabin. The meat house was very well equipped, with everything needed to process and package the game. The boats were large freighter canoes, and very sturdy, making it possible to cover a tremendous amount of ground, if necessary. We had a good flow of caribou for a couple of days right behind camp, and didn't need to use the boats until late in the hunt, when the migration slowed.
The region is beautiful, and perfect for bowhunting, with plenty of cover for stalking and ambushing.

We had great, typical, caribou hunting weather. Cold, rainy, and fairly windy, and the animals were on the move.
