The Quail Shed is not the fanciest place you will find but comprised of GREAT ground, GREAT people, GREAT bucks, and GREAT all around operation! Don and Clifford will bend over backwards to do anything and everything they can to make your trip enjoyable and succesful. This was my first ever trip outside of Michigan to hunt whitetails and The Quail Shed fullfilled all my expectations on what I had heard and read on Illinois and it's legendary whitetail hunting. The Quail Shed made such an impression on me that I have already booked for the fall of 2008!!! Only this time I couldn't keep my brother away. Upon being apprehensive in 2007, he's booked this fall too after seeing my pictures and hearing my stories.

PS - I am 6'2" and 280lbs and after 27 seasons bow hunting in Michigan, I finally have a buck that looks bigger than me in the pictures!!! If you're a big guy, you know what I'm talking about.....hahaha!
