This was a bowhunt for lion, and I killed a monster nine foot, 400 pound lioness. Hunt was much more than I had anticipated, a two day adrenalin-filled adventure of a lifetime. PH brothers Christo and Eseias Lamprecht make Lekota Safaris one of the best in the business.

Weather in South Africa during December can be VERY wet. My lion hunt worked out well, but I would not recommend this time of year for bowhunting general plains game.
