New Junior World Record
Danish compound archers and Carbon Express Pro Staffer Stephan Hansen sets a new Junior World Record.
Stephan used his Nano Pro’s 450 to set a new world record score of 714 out of a maximum of 720 beating the old record of 713 which Stephan also held. The new world record was set at the selection competition held in Taastrup Denmark on 4/26/15.
ASA Southwest Shoot Out in Paris, TX
Carbon Express professional Joseph Goza takes 3rd place in the Men’s Open Pro class at the ASA Southwest Shoot Out in Paris, TX
Joseph used his X Buster 350 to shoot a score of 482 to place third in the event. During the round Joseph hit 6 out of the last ten twelve's to make the shoot off and gave him a tie for the lead. In the shoot off he was two point behind on the last target and hit the fourteen to take the lead but the other competitors were also able to hit the fourteen placing Joseph in third place.
Gator Cup
Carbon Express Factory Pro Staffer Paige Pearce had an outstanding weekend at the Gator Cup, Senior World Team Trials and Junior World Team Trials shooting her Nano Pro 600’s! At the Gator Cup she won the junior division, qualified 3rd overall in the Senior Division and finished 4th during the eliminations. Paige is sitting in the third position for the Senior World Team, but the final team will be determined at the second Team Trials held at the So Cal Showdown in June.
Additionally Paige teamed with Danielle Reynolds, and Toya Cerne to win the open team gold medal.
Finally, and most impressive, Paige accomplished something that no other archer in the world has ever accomplished. She qualified for her 5th Junior World Team and will be traveling to Yankton, South Dakota in June to compete in The Youth World Championships! Congratulations Paige!
Gator Cup
Carbon Express junior staff member Anna Miscione wins Silver in the senior 70m recurve at the 2015 Gator Cup using her Carbon Express Nano Pro X-Tremes.
At this same event, Anna earned one of three spots on the Junior Women’s Recurve Team that will represent the US at the World Archery Youth Championships this summer in Yankton, South Dakota.
Congratulations to the Carbon Express Pro Staff for setting the bar high and focusing their sights on excellence, and giving the archery world some incredible performances this past month.
