I am in Oklahoma and am planning to plant four acres. I have mowed down the native grasses and wonder if I should spray them or get ready to till and throw seed at the end of the month. I am going with winter peas, winter wheat, crimson clover, and .25lb per acre of brassicas. I will add 19-19-19 when I throw the seed. Any help and advice is greatly appreciated.

I think that you can go either way. If you spray, glyphosate will not leave a residual and you should wait several weeks after spraying for the roots to die. Discing will bring up new seeds. So, if you disc to plant it may be just as good to disc to kill the existing vegetation and not bother to spray. I think that if you were to use cereal rye instead of wheat, the rye will help with weed suppression and improve your soil quality.
