Depends on which pigweed it is. Gly will work on some, but if it's resistant then you'll need something else such as Liberty, 2-4d, dicamba, etc. If it's resistant then even some of these won't work well if it's more than 6 inches tall. Your local CO-OP will know what's common in your area and the best way to treat it. I wouldn't want it to go to seed if I could help it so treating now is probably in your best interest.
Good luck!

It’s all resistant to glyphosate in Illinois. 24D will get it, but liberty may only stunt it if it’s of any size. Mechanical control if it’s not a huge area

I would mow to keep from seeding if very big. Then as soon as it starts coming back i spray with Interline which is the generic for liberty.I helps alot to plant a enlist seed such as the soybeans sold by Real World for couple years.Too bad it's one a deers favorite native browse

Pigweed is incredibly nutritious and valuable for many species. It has a crazy digestible protein level

The seeds of Pigweed are eaten by many birds including Mourning Doves and Bobwhites. It is not preferred by deer, some grazing but not much. 24D will get it as stated above. I plan to spray mine tomorrow with 24D, I will let you know how it goes. Mine is over a foot tall, some 2 foot. BC

The deer browse mine really heavy when young but you do not want it to seed out.I noticed last night my late planted beans are still small enough the pigweed is starting to come up.I will spray this week while they are under 6 inches tall.

Was very interesting. I took the family to visit the Mammoth museum in SD. They have an undisturbed Mammoth fossil site. There was pigweed even back then.
