Been hunting with Wide Rack outfitter for 5 years, things certainly changed with Mike and Brian the last couple years. This year was a major disappointment. Brian at B camp likes to change the rules each year and not listen to what other hunters are saying. Brian and Mike lied about several aspects of this years hunt, didn't even tell us they logged the farm until weeks before the hunt. They have you sign a BS contract the first evening, they don't follow their own guidelines on the contract you sign. Brian allows guys to move stands and even take the stand you picked on the 2nd day without any warning. Come to find out this year Brian's B camp has already been hunted prior to us arriving by the owners grandson. B camp will be non existent in the next few years due to the fact the real owner has family closing in on the property each year at a time. Mike is the owner of Wide Rack and outfits a few different farms 30 minutes away. Don't waste your time at church camp either, low success rate, Mikes personal camp does well. There are better places to spend your hard earned money and vacation time, time away from family to be treated like garbage from Brian at B camp. Stands are terrible, they could care less about wind direction and let guys sit anywhere. Bait piles are 10 yds away, They preach stay in your stand, be scent free, etc but yet let people bump you out of your spot. I know several outfitter that I spoke to after the fact and said they would never allow this. Brian, Mike, you know what you did, clean up your act, it's the same reason you get new clients every year that don't return let alone us who gave you 5 years of loyalty. Mike didn't even take the time to call or ask me what happened in camp and just took Brian's side when Mike didn't even know half the story. Won't be returning, my hunting partner will not either. It's a shame it went down this way but it definitely ruined my week of hunting. Trail cam pics , don't believe those either, that's a whole other topic. Don't believe the church Christian front these guys hide behind, Go elsewhere!
