Allan Tew has been outfitting for a long time in BC. They run a very personalized family operation and they like bow hunters. Bear hunting is spot and stalk. It was a late spring, we were the first hunt, and bears were just starting to get active, but we still saw plenty of bears. They have a good population of color phase and some big bears. I should of had one because I was within 20 yards of big chocolate, but couldn't close the deal. The other bow hunter did take a bear with a 15 yard shot. I thoroughly enjoyed the week, especially the people. Good times.
