Hunted with CK Outfitters Kansas for 1st week of Muzzleloader 2021. From the lodging to the quality of deer - this is a 1st class operation. I dumped it on a 130 class buck 4 hours into the hunt on the 1st day - this was due in part to my bad experiences with previous outfitters where there had been little opportunity. I saw a pic of this buck prior to my hunt and had decided i would be happy to harvest him. One of the other hunters saw a 180 class buck at 200+ yards but the deer never turned broadside. There are some true giants out here, which was confirmed on the trip to the taxidermist. Kenny's management style is the key though - he has enough land that after a deer or two are killed on a farm, he no longer hunts that farm. This was huge for me and from a hunter's perspective. 3 out of 5 hunters harvested an animal - no Booners but the deer had just come out of velvet which changed all their patterns. Kenny and his guide kept working hard all week trying to adjust and get the hunters on deer. A 160 class and 190 class were killed on neighboring properties, so the big boys are there. You wont be disappointed with CK Outfitters.

This is a hot hunt, but it is September. The weather did not affect the deer, in my opinion.
