First, I would like to say THANK YOU to Chris Lavoie and Saxon James for a once and a lifetime hunt!! I cannot say enough of what this hunting experience meant to me. This hunt was with a dear friend of mine who is 75 years old and has some physical limitations. We arrived to camp and we're met by Chris, Saxon, and some regulars to camp. Everyone was friendly and reminded me like we knew each other for years. This was my first bear hunt so I had no idea what to expect. They educated me on my questions and explained the planned week. While sitting at the lodge I was amazed at the work Chris and Saxon were putting in day in and day out to ensure the hunters had the best experience possible. The cabins were perfect for the hunt and I was excited. The hunting was amazing! There is no doubt Chris and Saxon prepare the hunting locations well in advance and want you to be successful. The sites are not pressured and the bear will come in! Paul and I had many bear encounters between us during the week. We both harvested large bears while using our longbows. I couldn't stop talking about the hunt for the entire 17 hour drive home. Let's just say I already put my deposit down for 2023 and can not wait! Thanks again gentlemen for a top notch hunting experience with a great hunting environment. It was also a pleasure to meet Delwayne! See you all in 2 years.....
