I recommend this outfitter

I was able to hunt with Willie after a friend backed out of the hunt and I paid to take his spot. I was lucky enough to kill a Pope and Young antelope on the first day that I hunted with Willie. Willie spotted plenty of antelope and the stalks began. After a few unsuccessful stalks Willie an I set out to stalk a group of antelope using a decoy. We used the terrain to stalk within 200 yards of the group and waited for them to make a move. A smaller antelope provided us with a shot opportunity that wasn't successful but Willie didn't panic and a few minutes later the biggest buck in the group came over to check us out. After the buck got to within 30 yards I put a good shot on the antelope. After the hunt we took the buck to a butcher but found out later that night that the butcher was too busy to process the buck. I was on my own the next day trying to find a place to process the antelope because Willie had to take the second hunter in camp out hunting again. Trying to figure out how to get the trophy processed and back to Maryland on my own was my only complaint about the trip. I would hunt with Willie again if the opportunity ever arises.

Outfitter's Response
Agree

Daniel did a great job of maintaining his composure after missing a chip shot on the first antelope and made his SECOND shot count by perfectly putting it right where it needed to be. I’ve guided enough bowhunters to know that getting them into position several times is sometimes needed to seal the deal. As a matter of fact, the second hunter that I was guiding that Daniel mentioned (it was a 2x1 Hunt) had FIVE chances and failed to connect. So goes it in the guiding business. Good for Daniel! He closed the deal with only 2 chances needed. I think he might be grading me a bit harsh on trophy care and butchering logistics because my butcher could have taken care of it and I have a taxidermist that has done hundreds of animals for me on-call however neither could work quite as fast as what Daniel was hoping for. I was proud to have given him the second chance he needed to be successful on the antelope. It was great fun.
