I recommend this outfitter

after researching bryan, and brushyfork for about 2 seasons, we decided to pull the trigger. with top notch ratings all over the internet, a success rate that could rival the best outfitters in the country, and after speaking with a few references, I knew I was making the right choice for my group of 6. dealing with bryan was a pleasure, from booking, til the day we left. as we arrived in camp, we knew we made a good choice when a large buck was chasing a doe through a field by the lodge, we knew it was going to be good. the accomodations were great in every way, we stayed at the Coshocton north camp, and also frequented the main lodge daily as we were just a minute from them. the first day we had orientation, and had dinner. honestly at that point we already felt like we wanted to rebook.

the hunt unfortunately, booking a hunt theres no controlling the weather. and mother nature was not on our side this week. most days we had warm temps, one day reached 65. 3 out of 5 days we had rain, and quite a bit of heavy soaking rain. wind didn't let up much either some days. none of which really promotes deer movement. despite this, we for the most part had good action. everyone saw a mature shooter, 140"+ at BFO. 2 of us managed to take our best bucks, 151" 12 point, and 152" 10pt. 3 out of the remaining 4 had close calls on ohio bruisers, but could not seal the deal, unfortunately, that's bowhunting. also multiple guys had the chance to pass some smaller bucks up to the 130 class, just not what you look for in ohio. anyone who knows bowhunting, knows these numbers are quite good considering the weather. I had buddies at another outfitter this week, in the same county, and 6 hunters didn't see a shooter in a week. our guides, kevin and Patrick, worked hard for us from the minute we arrived til the minute we left. if we needed to be taken to a stand, they did it, if we wanted something adjusted or moved, they did it. they stayed busy, running cams, moving stands, working hard to give us a shot at a buck.

I highly recommend Brushy Fork Outfitters. bottom line the experience was great, and bryan will not be happy unless you are happy. I can assure you, HE HAS THE BUCKS!!! I said earlier, we knew when we arrived we wanted to rebook, well by day 2, we knew we HAD to rebook. thanks again bryan, Patrick, and kevin. already cant wait for 2019!!

Was definitely a pleasure having you guys in camp! Although the weather wasn’t great, you still had positive attitudes. Guys like you are the reason we love to outfit. I’ve had many clients turn friends and then turn family. Can’t wait to go fishing with you out in NY. Keep in touch, brother!
