This hunt was fantastic! Great, new cabins with a scenic atmosphere greeted me when I arrived. The staff was very friendly and eager to help out in any way. Everything was top notch and first class, including the full archery range of Rinehart targets with stands placed to practice before the hunt. Also, every stand on the property has a lifeline attached for safety including the practice range stands. Be prepared to gain some weight in the kitchen too, as the cooking from Ms. Tina was GREAT!
The hunt itself was great. You can tell that Tad and his guys know their deer and property very well. Mike Leachman was my guide and I could not have asked for a better one. It was close but no cigar on the second evening of my hunt, and we put together a good plan for the 3rd day and I was able to take a 145 1/8" 11 point that evening. This was the same buck I almost closed the deal on the evening before. Deer numbers were very plentiful and the quality was what you would expect from famed western Kentucky. Hopefully, I will be back soon to have another great hunt.
