I was on a velvet whitetail hunt in early September with Premier Outfitters. I passed up a solid 150" 8 pt on day two of four with known Boone and Crockett bucks also accessing my stand site. We had trail cam confirmation of this with both larger bucks on camera a day before my hunt started during daylight hours. All of the hunters in camps either had opportunities or saw exceptional animals on this hunt. Very organized outfitters and the guides are knowledgeable as well as enjoyable to be around. You can't ask for a more professionally ran hunting operation. I will be returning next year for this same hunt. The owner and guides are great folks and work hard to try to get all of the hunters an opportunity at a trophy. The properties hold a lot of deer as well as a good population of trophy class whitetails.
Troy, thank you, sir for the review. It was a pleasure having you back in camp. See you in 2018 if not before.
Weather on the first three days was hot but we still had very good sightings of deer including trophy animals. On day four we had a cold front with the wind switching. Deer sightings were similar to the previous three days.
