After I'd harvested a 150-inch buck with Tad in Sept 2015 (read my review), I took my son there for the Kentucky's Youth Firearm Season (Oct 2015). My son had a blast! We saw several nice bucks and a load of turkeys! Plus, we could fish in-between hunts. At that time, bucks were still holding to early-season feeding patterns. With every outing, we watched in disbelief as a GIANT main-frame 10-pointer teased us just out of shooting range. Yet on the final afternoon hunt, my son shot that monster 167-incher! Additionally, he made several new friends, including Tad and his crew. Lord willing, this will be an annual trip for us to share time together in God's great outdoors.
