When Matt said he knew about where a big hog was hanging out, He wasn't kidding. Once again, Matt and I combined to bring home a huge hog. When the boar raised his head out of his bed, my heart skipped a beat. To say that this thing was a tank is an understatement. Unfortunately, the boar died in an area too thick to bring up a vehicle so I quartered the hog right on the spot and hauled the parts through the woods to a trail. Lots of work but well worth a trophy like this boar. Huge head and teeth. Thick hide and shield kept the arrows from passing through but they did the job. Thanks to Matt and his sidekick Chris.
