This is my 7th straight year hunting with Chris and Pine Acres. I did not shoot a bear this year-it was my choice. I killed an 18 year old 400lb boar in 2014 and chose to hold out for larger or a color phase. That said we had an outstanding hunt that week and a phenomenal hunt the first night. In our group of guys we killed 3 bears the first night with the smallest 300lbs and the largest boar exceeding 500lbs dressed weight. The stands are well set up in active bear country. If a hunter is patient you can normally fill your tag with a trophy bear. Chris and his staff do an exceptional job and you are foolish to not take advantage of Lotties meals at night. Besides the great hunts the comraderie with the group of hunters is exceptional. This could possibly be the best bargain out there for a top quality black bear hunt.
