Wow! What a EXCELLENT bear camp. Pine Acres met all of my expectations and than some... Lodging was the way I like it. Quiet and comfortable yet not too fancy. Food prepared by Lottie and assistant was exceptional and buffet style. Comradeship was great. Hunters got along.Costs were reasonable.
On the first night 3 of our 6 hunters shot bears.Bears weighed approximately 550#, 450# (mine) and 325#. IT WAS A LONG Night for 6 hunters who shared the joy of pulling these impressive bruins out of the wild bush of Canada. I loved every minute! Chris is a one of a kind outfitter. He daily views updated photos from each bait sites to determine size and # of bear visits. All baits were freshened regularly and had no previous hunting. Chris is a exceptional authority on bear behavior, size estimation and is genuinely interested in the success of each hunter. Guides Saxton and Logan worked their buts off the entire week. The best part of the trip was making new friends with Gary Joe Greg John and Del Wayne.
