My brother and I have been hunting the Pine Acres Camp for several years now. The first year my brother shot a nice bear but things were a little slow for me, however I did see bear. The second year my brother & I shot nice bears the first night out within about 3 hours. That was amazing. Even more amazing the bear I shot beat me back to the road and was expired where I was going to wait for my ride. The rest of that week we enjoyed great fishing and watched bear activity at the local dump. This year my brother & I were also successful whereas I arrowed even a bigger bear and my brother shot a 500 lb plus bear. We then returned a few weeks later for a wolf hunt in which we were not successful but partly due to the fact that we could only stay for a 3 day hunt instead of the full 6. I did see very nice wolfs brought into camp and even more hunters had shots. I am booked for next years bear & wolf hunts as Chris & Lottie have become friends of mine and have always accommodated us at the camp and in the woods. I have learned a lot from them over the past years and hopefully have increased my hunting skills to better my odds of taking home the trophy.
