This was my first bear hunt and Pine Acres Camp exceeded my expectations. I had previously spoken with several outfitters at the Chicago All Canada show but finally found an outfitter that I felt comfortable with. After talking with Chris at the show, it was obvious that he knew what he was talking about . He answered all of my questions to my satisfaction and was responsive in follow up emails. I have fished the Vermilion Bay Area for over fifteen years and spoke with a trusted resort owner and learned that Chris has an excellent reputation for bear hunting. Upon arrival at camp, Chris told me what I should expect for activity for the week and he was right on with his information. I harvested my first bear and credit Chris and Freeman for my success. I can't wait to go back in 2016! I absolutely recommend Pine Acres for any bear hunter, but especially to first timers. What a great experience.
