Hunter Comments
I recommend this outfitter

Chris and Lottie run a great bear camp and I plan to make a return trip. He has plenty of baits and knows black bear very well and he put us in position to be sucessful. I shot a good bear on the first night...did have to weather a thunderstorm but it was worth well worth it. I was with Mike and Angela Rose and my wife, Trish went along on the trip also...she managed to catch a 36" pike off a dock on a walleye rig..., I'm not a fisherman but she has the biggest I caught beat by at least 6" Lottie is a great cook....we didn't have the meal plan but we sat in the lodge while they ate and I managed a dessert or two....very good food. I think the thing that impressed me the most is how many were repeat hunters and how so many knew eachother from past years. I had a great time in the lodge after the hunt talking with other hunters in camp. I also had a ton of fun tagging along on bear recoveries too. They have plenty of good fishing in the area...Lottie knows fishing. The cabins are in good shape, clean and enough space. I'd like to thank Chris, Lottie, Brian and a special thanks to Freeman aka Freebird.

The weather was actually cool but didn't affect the hunt but the fact that everything was a month behind made the wild blueberries late....and that did affect hunting.
