Two hunters and two guides. Used decoys. Put on lots of miles and of course most bucks ran off with the does instead of came in. Guides willing to work as hard as you. Fun guys to be around. They were finishing up the new house while we were there. Home cooked dinners, lunches were at the local diner. Snacks were furnished. Bring good optics and a one spotting scope for two hunters. Then you can watch your buddy from a distance. It helps you filter out the B.S. when he comes back. Should be successful, if weather and the luck are with you. Guides will give you the range to animal, you bring the shooting ability.
Henry and his friend Dave were on there second archery hunt with me . This time they were hunting pronghorn , last time it was mule deer . Great guys to hunt with ! Henry and Dave were ready to work hard if needed and it payed off as both hunters were tagged out by day three . These guys did their homework before they came and that allowed them to capitlize on shot oppertunities . Good job on your shooting guys! Hope to hunt with you again in the future . Decoying antelope during the rut is an adreneline rush and really is a lot of fun . Also a nice change up to your usual deer hunting .
Drove in through an ice/snow storm. 1st days was overcast. 2nd day drizzled off and one. Third day was overcast. Days 4 and 5 were foggy and would not have been - but we were tagged out.
