I spoke with Matt Burrows for about a year before booking this hunt and it was everything he told me it would be. Accomodations were excellent and the food is the best I've had on an outfitted hunt. We were into elk the first 15 minutes of our hunt and throughout the hunt we had bulls around us. I could have killed some cows and had a great bull at about 18 yards that spooked right before he stepped into my shooting lane...and I was already at full draw. The guides were excellent as well as the owners of the operation. Probably the best paid hunt I have ever been on. Also saw some unbelievable mule deer that week, tons of them. The guy who hunted with me killed a nice 6x6 the same day I had my close encounter.
