All Day Hunt
I went right back to the same stand today and decided to do a 12 hour all-day sit. I forgot how brutal that can be but with a little preparation (pee bottle, sandwiches, and sleeping pills) you can get through it.
The morning was pretty slow. I saw one little dink buck that was pretending to be bigger than 40 inches. A bunch of does came and went all day along with several repeat visits by that dink.
At 5:00PM the same buck from yesterday came in. He's really pushing his luck. I got an even better look at him this time and talked myself out of him once again. It may not happen a third time but who knows.
It was a beautiful day weather wise and very comfortable for an all day sit. This update is pretty short since I'm wiped out and Rose Nye just put out a giant roasted turkey with stuffing for dinner. I'm outta here!
