OUTFITTER
We are hunting with Cimarron River Outfitters owned by Kent and Clay Jarnagin. It's pretty tough to get an open slot at CRO but if you do, you will experience one incredible Kansas Bowhunt!

Day 2
I hunted the Condo again this morning, same place I was last evening. It was very slow. The weather turned milder than yesterday but I don't know if that affected movement. I saw one small buck, 2 fawns and three does.
For the afternoon hunt I went to the Calvary Creek stand. Like the morning hunt it was slow. One buck came in, following a doe, and was harassing her nonstop. He was a young 8-point. At sunset I saw a mature buck a ways off - maybe a thousand yards. I got a good look at him through my binocs and he appeared to be around 160. Nice buck, and one I don't think anyone knows about this buck including the outfitter. Nothing came in worth taking a picture of. Matt hunted the Wooden stand. It was slow for him too.

Our hunt takes place in South Central Kansas in Comanche County which is down near the Oklahoma Border. The habitat is a mix of prairie, treebelts, river bottoms, and large agricultural fields. Prime Whitetail habitat.
