The thickets (where the deer ran into) are nearly impenetrable, and visibility averages 3 yards. The thickets extend off this property into the neighbor and are approximately 50 acres. Finding a dead deer without blood is basically impossible. In 30 years of hunting this property, three gutshot deer have run into those thickets - none have been recovered without a solid blood trail.
