After climbing out of the stand you inspect the arrow. It's coated with green slime and watery blood. You quietly proceed. It took a while but you find the spot where the deer left the field and entered the woods. As expected, the buck went south into the thickets. At least this will give you a starting point for trailing later. It appears the deer ran 60 yards to this spot then stopped for a few moments. There was no blood within the 60 yards before this pool of blood. You quietly walk 30 yards further - past this spot - and can't find a drop of blood anywhere. Answer the question below:
