About this bloodtrail game I realize there was no bloodtrailing in this particular game, but we decided to run it due to the strange circumstances around this kill. There was a lot of excellent discussion and disagreement about shot placement. I agree with people that shot C was not the perfect shot. What we asked in this question (and all BT shot placement questions) was what was the best shot out of the four choices presented. While not perfect -as so many of you pointed out- shot C was better than any of the other choices. The people that added an option E between A and C were spot on. Shot A was right on the shoulder blade, Shot B would have exited below the lungs, shot D missed all vitals. Still we respect everyone's opinion and welcome the discussion and disagreement. We wish all of you a successful bowhunt this year.
