 Clue 6
An actual, recent, Bloodtrail

This bloodtrail is 100% real. All the pictures and steps are as it happened during Pat Lefemine's deer hunt in Saskatchewan, 2009. Good Luck!

It has been hours since you first took up this trail and until this point the teamwork has worked miracles. You are now 900 yards into the blood trail but things have taken a turn for the worse. The blood trail has petered out to the tiniest specs you can imagine and now, between the ditch and the western fence line the three of you have completely lost the trail at position Q6.

The woods here are quite thick and visibility is limited to 15 yards - at most. To this point, the buck has stayed on an established deer trail and he has never bedded. Hopes are fading, and reality is starting to set in. You must fight the temptation to abandon the trail. You have several choices, all of which were tried, but only one worked. See if you can figure out which method led us to the fence line where we picked up the very last spec of blood after almost 1000 yards of tracking.

Rob Nye inspects the very last speck of blood. It was found hundreds of yards from the previous speck - at the edge of the woods as you enter the cut for the fence line.

MOAB Edition
- This is the most difficult bloodtrail I have ever filmed and recorded. Hence the term "Mother of All Bloodtrails." This challenge is a mixed bag. A little bit textbook, a couple of tricks and a test of your experience and powers of observation.

Play at your own Risk. Have Fun, and above all NO WHINING!
