You are trailing a deer shot on an urban deer cull hunt in Southwest Ct.
Note: This trail is a textbook edition. That does not mean there are no tricks, but rather we followed generally understood best practices. Please keep that in mind when answering.
You waited 20 minutes and climbed down from your stand. You walk over to the location where the shot took place and you look at these three Clues:
Inspection of the arrow proves it is slick with a significant quantity of clean blood
Hair found at the exit side of the impact scene is light gray in color
A large splash of blood was left under the arrow at the location of impact
