Rubber tube makes it "old as dirt" tech.
WHEN the tube breaks, it means resighting the bow before hunting again. |

tubes are not a big deal. If they break you don't need to resite them in. Even so I don't like the looks of this particular peep |

Not a fan of tubed peeps. Not hip on the screw togeter style peep. I'd be afraid a screw backs out and it falls off the string. |
