I first hunted with Seven J thirty years ago. During that time I have been on a handful of hunts, originally white tails with the last two being elk. This trip started with a shot opportunity at a 280” six point 30 minutes into the hunt which I passed up. Two hours later, my guide extraordinaire Clint, had a bull that dreams are made of at 15 yards. Unfortunately an equipment failure allowed that bull to live. After borrowing a bow from a hunter who had tag out (Kudus to Ryan) I spend the rest of the hunt in the middle of elk. As the hunt was ending a satellite bull gave me the same 15 yards which end my trip. I have hunted many outfitters and Seven J is as good as they come.
