I recommend this outfitter
This was my first western hunt and first time hunting for elk. I did a lot of research and Flat Top Adventures came highly recommended. Our guide Colton Ellis was top-notch! He worked hard every day to find fresh sign and elk. We saw a black bear which I had a tag for also but we couldn't get close enough for a shot. Saw mule deer just about every day along with two bull moose and sage grouse. We hunted in Unit 34 during the week. So glad we booked our trip with them and thankful and blessed to have had an opportunity to kill an elk. The area was beyond beautiful and hope to go back again soon!

Hard to say since we didn't have service but I would guess it was in the 60's-70's during the day and upper 30's at night. We had some thunderstorms and Wednesday it rained for a good portion of the morning.
