Well, Chris got it done for us again! I was at Pine Acres with my son-in-law Matt this time. I had taken my bear in 2021. I was only in my stand for 45 minutes when a mature bear came in. This time, I was just there to support Matt's hunt. His bait was being hit, and on the 3rd day he had 2 bears come in. Both came in behind him, and walked within 10 feet without scenting him. Kudo's to Scent-Away body wash! The first bear went to the bait. Nice bear, maybe 225#. The larger bear then came in and ran the smaller bear off. Matt's shot (Hornady SST slug) was a pass through and the bear tumbled on the spot. Chris runs a great operation! Thousands of acres, dozens of bait sites, and lots of bears! Cabins are clean and comfortable. Ours had just been remodeled. Chris and Saxon are always there to provide assistance and advice. We highly recommend this operation!

This was a spring hunt. Weather was excellent! Upper 60's to low 70's during the day, and upper 40's at night. Very comfortable hunting weather.
