When we arrived at our bed and breakfast the outfitter set up, a guide showed up to take us to a property. First, he had to stop by the farmer's home to pay the lease. 1st red flag. the guide showed us the property. 250-acre farm was our starting point. we walk the entire farm, not a single track, feather or any other turkey sign was found. we let the guide know that we wanted to hunt another farm. the next morning, we hear a gobble, finally. when the bird flew down, he made a bee line to the adjoining property, never to be heard or seen again. we walked the 60 acre property and found 6 fresh shotgun hulls, the day before fresh. Once again we ask to move farms. No luck for the last day. The next morning as we were packing to leave, we hear a gobble. downtown Cawker City is where all the birds were. when we left, we rode towards the area we heard the gobbles, three longbeards and three hens were on the ground less than a 30 yards from our truck. I have three other hunters that can back this story up. Save your time and money, DO NOT HUNT WITH RADER LODGE IN KANSAS! ,
