New Mexico Hunting Adventures came highly recommended by a friend whom had successful hunts with Vince for 10+ years. I was interested in antelope hunting so we had a group that booked together. Since it was not only my 1st western hunt, but also antelope I had lots of questions. Vince was available to answer all of my questions/concerns in preparation for the hunt. I appreciated his communication in that he returned calls or emails once he was back in service from the field. I also utilized the New Mexico Hunting Adventures website which was very resourceful in prepping. The lodging was above expectations & the meals were perfect for the hunting trip. Home cooked breakfast at 4am, packed lunches (and all the snacks you could imagine - which I needed) and supper was ready upon arrival after a long day of hunting. Day 1 of the hunt we immediately saw groups of antelope at 1st light which was extremely exciting for me !!! The Guides helped spot & stalk more antelope than I could count. A few of our hunters tagged out on the first day. Day 2 of the hunt we immediately saw antelope again at 1st light . The rest of our group tagged out so that left me. Vince put me on 2 in which I missed, so I was a little defeated. He was positive, patient & kept encouraging me to keep pushing . He was determined to get me on an antelope & was confident that I would get one by the end of day . He knew exactly where to go & I was impressed with his knowledge of the land & antelope movement. He exuded passion in the field & it was hard not to be excited & feel driven to hunt harder. Just as he had told me, he did in fact put me on an antelope exactly where he said they would be moving. I did not miss this time and I dropped my goat about 200 yards. It was an incredible experience, one I will never forget.
