First two days did not see a deer, on third day caught a glimpse of two does about 250 yrds away. Talked with owner and he put me with another guide, seen more deer but no shooters. Out of twelve bow hunters in camp one hunter shot a 132” buck. If you shoot a buck under 140” you pay $1000 penalty unless it is a slick 8 point you can go down to 130”. We were told by a guide that since the bow season started Oct 1st only five bucks were shot and all five hunters had to pay the $1000 penalty. This place doesn’t have the quality or quantity that they advertise on there web site. All guided that take you to your stand location drive you right to your stand. All there vehicles are loud, make all kinds of noises and my first guide would not quitely close his door or tailgate. One morning our guides seat belt buzzer wouldn’t stop buzzing on our twenty mile drive to the farm we were hunting. Also when I booked the hunt it said 1 guide for every 2 hunters. During my hunt there it was 1 guide for every three hunters. The lodge they show you in the picture looks new but is actually older, our bed creeked, toilet paper holder was about ready to fall off and just not as nice as they make it look. Definitely will not go back to or refer anyone to book with this outfitter.
