I’ve hunted with mike at Widerack outfitters for 4 seasons at main camp. Mike has a phenomenal deer herd, awesome stand placement, and awesome accommodations. Every year I look forward to my week at Widerack. The past 2 seasons we have had multiple days in the 70’s and both years I’ve seen multiple shooters. And when I say shooters, I mean 150”+ deer. I had 2 shooters in 1 afternoon work into shooting range. One busted me after working into about 15 yards and just not giving me a shot. Then a beautiful 10 point grunting after a doe gave me a 27 yard broadside shot and buck fever got the best of me. No fault of anyone other than myself. Mike put every single hunter in our camp in the position to shoot beautiful deer. Some of us capitalized, some of us lost to the deer! But that’s archery hunting. Mike has become more than a guide, he’s become a friend that I would recommend to anyone who wants to have an amazing hunt. I’ve already booked for next season! I recommend you do the same.
