I wish I would have read the comments about this outfitter before I booked. I had the same experience. The guide I had talked to for over a year picked us up and promptly left to take his wife moose hunting. We hunted 5 days and 2 of the 3 never saw an elk. The dream hunt turned into a nightmare on day 2. We had talked about elk hunting being like turkey hunting but when we arrived we were informed that the land owner allows blind hunting only. So we were stuck in a blind and hoped an elk walked by to ambush. I spent over 30 hours in a blind and saw zero. I should have spent more but I gave up the last hunt. I was done. I am a little embarrassed and ashamed that I got scammed like this but if I can save another person from this miserable experience, I will.

Was the outfitter notified of problems? - YES
