The outfitter Britt Williams misrepresented the hunt so badly I'm not sure where to begin. Myself and 2 others in my party went to Shawnee Hills on a bow/ muzzleloader hunt that Britt inferred would be low pressure, only 6-8 hunters in camp and he also inferred he had 1500 private acres with 200 stands set up. Low and behold to our amazement after arriving in camp that there is in fact 30 hunters in two camps hunting the same property which we find out is public forest service. His own actual property is maybe 75acres and maybe he had a 1/5 of the 200 stands set. Our camp had 13 hunters and the reaction from everyone was WTF, but we will tried to make the best of it. Our guide was also the camp cook and manager, to say she was overwhelmed is an understatement. We basically drew stands out of a hat for where we were expected to hunt regardless of wind direction. Public pressure forced several in our party to abandon their stands and hunt from makeshift ground blinds. Never did Britt bother to stop by and ask us how the s**t show was going and after all the lies he told everyone, why bother to reason with a crook. Bottom line, 13 guys were in my camp and 13 guys will never go back. Britt has some loyal followers and they do take some big deer, but beware of this outfit. Let's just say a little bird recently told me he has been charged with a few violations.
