We arrived about noon the day before our hunt began and instantly felt welcomed. Like Tad had known us for years. We got all set up and unpacked in our cabin. The accommodations are outstanding to say the least with each room having it's own bathroom and the washer and dryer in each cabin is an awesome touch. The shooting range on site is excellent as well with the choice to shoot from different stands or on the ground with animal targets at the most common yardages you'll encounter. It was obvious that Tad and Barry and Larry know their stuff and truly care about giving the hunters the best possible opportunity to connect. Each night at dinner a plan was hatched for the next day and Tad checked in with us multiple times throughout each sit asking about wind and action etc. He moved me twice one day as when the wind switched so did I. I never had to ask, he knew the wind changed and was on it!! Each set was rock solid with life lines at each stand. The shooting lanes were clear and the stands were placed with great cover around them! You could tell a lot of thought went into each location. We sat all day and when we got back we sat down to some of the best food I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy!! Miss Tina is amazing! She took the time to learn each of our names and treated us as if we were family. While I didn't tag, it was not from lack of effort on Tad's part. That's what fair chase is all about. To me the hunt has always been primary and the kill secondary. It was the best hunt I've ever been on. Seeing multiple deer and having an encounter with the biggest buck I've ever seen in the woods. I will go back to hunt with Tad and his crew as soon as I am able to. I cannot recommend this place enough.
