Booked a Merriam's Turkey hunt for my 13 year old (son to complete his grandslam) and our elderly neighbor who got him started turkey hunting. This hunt was going to be a combination birthday/8th grade promotion gift. Paid in full for the hunt almost a year in advance with a signed hunt contract. Chris Colefack, the owner called 2 weeks before our trip and told me the state had shut him down on hunts due to Covid 19 but he would not refund any $ or provide a hunt date for the following season. He made a refrence to some grant he was submitting to the state for his bussiness. Hasn't responded to any of the letters from my attourney concerning the clear breech of contract. Probanly end up in court instead of a turkey blind because I trusted this outfitter. It doesn't look like he has any intention of making things right. Stay away from this opperation. It appears to be a den of theives. Its pretty dirty to steal from anyone but to steal from a kid and an old man is about as low as it gets. Anyone else who has had this experience with Gobble n Grunt pleasecontact me. It could be worth exploring a potential class action.
