This was my third year in a row at premier. Already booked for next year. I seen a lot deer but didn’t get an opportunity at my target buck. When dealing with wild animals it happens. All the guys are the best in the business. This hunt did not include meals but one of the guides wife voluntarily made us supper which was greatly appreciated and speaks volume to the type of people they truest are. Forecast showed 100% chance of heavy rain for third day and Mark being the outstanding guy he is he went and purchased multiple ground blinds so all hunters could be as comfortable as possible. I chose to leave that comfort the last 4 hours of the hunt and return to the stand where a shooter buck was known to frequent. Even with heavy rain I still seen a ton of deer just not the target buck I was looking for. I’m looking forward to next year and have full confidence that my guide Caleb will have one dialed in for me! Can’t go wrong with these guys!
Thanks so much Josh, You are a true whitetail hunter that understands that patience is required when hunting mature bucks and that when you hunt in flash flood conditions the outcome may not be what you want. I am sorry you had to share camp with a couple of cry babies and I know you know who I am talking about. They can spoil a good time for the rest in camp. It was our pleasure to host you and Andrew again and we all look forward to the 2020 hunt.
First two days turned out to be nice hunting weather third day was some of the nastiest I’ve ever hunted in.
