Ryan's dedication to scouting and meeting the hunters expectations are immediately recognized. Though hunting does not guarantee an animal, one can not but help have a great time. From the cooks to the guides, there is no weak link in his camps. I returned as a non-hunter in 2019 with a friend who drew a Unit 15 tag. My 2018 experience was replicated as we had ample opportunity, saw lots of elk however were unsuccessful in our harvest. I will be back for sure !

Yes - Unusually Dry Conditions
Weather Comments:
The extremely dry conditions in 2018 did have an impact on horn growth by 10-15%. Therefore big bulls were there, but far and few between. It was a challenging season for everyone who hunted the lower southwest.
