I recommend this outfitter

If you ever want a awesome hunt you should look into this Bow Hutning Ranch. This was my 2nd time on the ranch and you can really see a HUGE difference with it. Jim is really a great guy and guide. He knows what he does and when you listen to him you WILL get your animals that you are hunting for. I went this time for Whitetails and he has a lot of BIG deer on his ranch. On the first morning we went out, I let 2 130#class Bucks go, because Jim mentioned that there are bigger ones out there. Keep in mind I have never seen big deer like that where I hunted before, so you can imagine how hard it was to let them go. I drew on them a couple times but kept on hearing Jim's voice in my mind...There are bigger ones!!!! So we hunted a couple more days and then I sat on one spot for about an hour and there was a 135-140#class Buck that came in. I got really excited and did not place my shot very well. Guess you can call it BUCK FEVER! I was sick to my stomache after seeing where the arrow hit. I went back to see Jim and we tracked for a good 2-3 hours but couldn't find the buck. Oh by the way, his tracking dog "Belle" is the best!! She will find anything if it is down. So we decided that we will hunt the same spot the next day. But I think I educated that Buck that he will be very hard to hunt and kill the next time. So if you guys really want an awesome guide, a awesome ranch and awesome animals you have to go to Bowhunters Paradise. The animals are pretty much all trophy class and Jim is an awesome Guy. Oh by the way my friend that was always against Texas so called "Pen" High Fence hunting shot a Trophy Class Oryx and booked for next year again! So people are coming around to think that these hunts are very easy. It is called Hunting and not killing. It is a big bonus to connect with the animal that you shot. Jim can't wait to hunt with you again next year in October!!!Great Job with your improvements. Andy Bouchard

Thanks for the report Andy--I miss you Boys already.

It is so nice to see that Guys still had fun even though they might not have put the Critter on the ground that they came to Paradise to chase. I know it’s all about you Boys having fun when you're in camp, but I had a blast hunting with you this year; I'm so lucky to have hunting Buddies like you!!

I noticed that you didn't say anything about my "Culinary Skills"; you couldn't have already forgotten about all you learned about cooking this year—where’s the LOVE (do you want your Steak RARE or RARER???). Andy is a phenomenal French Chef and he is very patient with my lack skills behind the spatula--he always eats whatever I put in front of him and that my Friends must be quite hard for a Guy with Andy’s Skills!! Thanks for everything Buddy; and someday I just might surprise you and put those skills you have taught me to good use...Ketchup does NOT go on a great Steak--see I'm learning.

I look forward to you Boys heading this way every year; thanks for taking the time to write this very nice report--see you next year my Friend.
