While on this hunt i had a minor health issue on the 3rd day and drove myself to the hospital to be checked out and make sure everything was ok.It was,but because of a possible liability issue my hunt was over.No problem i understood that.I waited a day and drove back home to Ohio.I went to see my heart doctor and i went through 3 days of tests, everything came out fine.He thought my light headness and feeling like i was going to passout may be due to dehydration from not drinking enough fluids. Now on ITB site it says returning hunters have preference over new hunters.I emailed steve phelps a number of times and got no response from him.I went on their facebook page yesterday and there was a message on there saying only 3rd week hunts were left.I contacted him about the 1st week at the boyscout camp that i had and finally got an answer from him.He said he was sorry he only had 3rd week hunts left.I told him about the so called preference for hunters coming back and he said because of what happened when i was there he didn't think i belonged in a treestand. So why didn't he answer my emails and tell me that then instead of waiting till now?I believe he screwed up and is using that as an excuse,so putting it on me.I was really looking forward to going back.I was with a really good group in camp and our guide Steve Parker was great. This is about what is said on their website not being true and Steve Phelps not admitting he screwed up,but using me as his excuse instead. Will not recommend him to anyone.Mike Lacer.
