I work for Hunters Specialties and we spent some time at IMB Outfitters in Missouri 11/4 - 11/8/2018. We stayed at the Salt River Lodge and were very impressed by the accommodations and "homey" feel of the lodge there. They remodeled an hold farm home and gave it a great updated lodge feel that feels like you are at home. The owners of the lodge were great and always had hot meals ready for us for dinner and lunch in the event we were not doing all day sits. They also made us sandwiches to take to the field with us for the all day sits.

We were there to host a hunt we gave away to a lucky hunter and film it for him. We were right on the brink of the rut really kicking off big time. Thoughout the week our guide was very active in putting in the effort to adjust our location and move farms when applicable to areas they were seeing heating up. By the end of the week we were seeing upwards of 40 deer per day. We did not end up tagging out because we went in with high standards of what we would put a tag on, and ultimately did not quite get it done on our end. We did see some great shooter bucks within 40 yards however.

Darrin Bradley and his son Tyler do a great job running the operation at IMB Outfitters - they make sure the hunters have the best opportunity possible to take home the deer they are looking for. We will definitely be going back to IMB in Missouri next year and hope to stay at the Salt River Lodge again.
