Horrible experience. The outfitter misrepresented pretty much everything about the hunt. Our accommodations were switched at the last minute from a lodge environment near the hunting to a basic roadside cabin at a campground. The food was a cold burrito for breakfast when we were promised hot meals. Dinners were ok but had to be eaten in the middle of a convenience store so not what was expected. Our guide was part-time and inexperienced and didn't know the land well. He also had to take us back to the campground for hours every day so he could do laundry and change the sheets in the rooms. We were told there several thousand acres on which to hunt and in reality, we only had s few small parcels. Guide couldn't seem to get us close to any elk even if we did see a few in the distance. Because of last minute change to lodging we were forced to drive a significant amount to go anywhere. Charged at a full-service rate and provided barely basic service. We would have been much better off planning and hunting on our own. Based on our experience this guide should not be in business.
